"God’s Word: Our Crisis Plan During Times of Trouble"

God is our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas. Psalm 46:1-2

Beloved, fret not, although we might in some form or fashion be affected in some way, as we observe the world’s systems fall apart at the seams.  And we hear on the news every time we tune in on our televisions, how the world appears to be in so much stress due to lost of jobs, homes, positions, fortunes; some have even gone as far as to take their lives and even those of their wives and children.  How many of us know, that it is not what happens to us  that will determine our outcome, but instead, it is how we response.  Our deliverance  is predicated upon whom/what we  are resting our faith upon and in whom or what we are  placing our trust in.  More importantly, it is predicated upon where are we storing up our treasures, for where we place your treasure, is where our hearts are found alson.  Let me remind all of us, that it is not wise to place in trust in these earthen vessels, but instead, build up your treasure in heaven where God himself is the overseer.  Let our dependency and trust be in God and His provision for us; do not fear, for God’s perfect, unconditional love for us, casts out all fear, just trust God!

King David  said, I have been young, and now I am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.  This poor man cried, and God saved him out of all his troubles. Beloved we need to trust that God got us.  the Word declares that,  the Angel of the Lord encamps around those who hear Him {who revere and worship him with awe} and each of them He delivers.

Beloved know that God is not good to us because we are good.  We just serve a good God who loves us with an everlasting love, in-spite of our shortcomings!  David, whom the word says was after God’s very heart, knew of His Goodness.  He cried out in (Psalm 145:20), O taste and see that the Lord {Our God} is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trust and takes refuge in Him. {1 Peter 2:2,3}.

Beloved be encouraged, check  out the last book, the last Chapter in the Holy Prophecy that God has written for us, in it you will find that the righteous in Christ are in a win win situation, our everlasting future is glorious and well planned (Revelation 22: 1-21). Please let us provoke  one another to believe first of all, that God is who He says He is!  Let us place our unwavering trust completely in the One and Only true and Living God.  He gives us His word, and if we have an unction to take anyone’s word, let me encourage you, to let that One be the Holy God who can not lie.  Beloved, trust God For this one thing, God says in (Jeremiah 29:11), For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

What then shall we say to {all} this? If God be for us, who {can be} against us:.{who and what can be our foe, if God is on our side?

Reference Scriptures:Psalm 34:6, 37:7 and Psalm 18:1, Roman 8:31.

Thank You Father God for being on our side. Thank You for being a very present help in time of troubles, thank You for supplying everyone of our needs according to Your riches and glory in Christ Jesus.  But God! Most of all, thank you for saving us and for our names being in the Lamb’s Book of Life!  Thank You for a crisis plan, that we can go to get help in times of troubles. Amen.

"The Love of God"

My beloved friends let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.

My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us—perfect love!

This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit. Also, we’ve seen for ourselves and continue to state openly that the Father sent his Son as Savior of the world. Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart and soul; this love that comes from God.

Real Love Does Not Fear

God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and matures in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.

"Warning! Watch Out For Offenses: It’s Devil Bait!"

There is a lasting peace for those who love your teachings.  Nothing can make those people stumble {offended} Psalm 119:165

The politician has slandered me unmercifully, but my awe at Your words keeps me stable.   I’m ecstatic over what You say, Like one who strikes it rich.  I hate lies-can’t stand them! But I love what You have revealed.

Seven times each day I stop and shout praises for the way You keep everything running right.  For those who love what You reveal, everything fits-no stumbling around in the dark for them.  I wait expectantly for Your salvation; God, I do what You tell me.  My soul guards and keeps all Your instructions- oh, how much I love them! I follow Your directions; abide by Your counsel;  My life’s an open book before You. Psalm 119:161-168

Beloved, the Psalmist, King David, has given {revealed} to us, the righteous and holy response, to prevent our haters in this world, from using offenses as bait to stop us from following God’s instructions and abiding by His counsel.  For those that love this present world has great vexation {trouble, affliction, and annoyances}, because the world does not answer what they expect.

According to God’s Word:

So, this is my prayer: “that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well.  Learn to love appropriately.  You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush.  Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.”   That way, you will be able to determine what is best, and be pure and blameless until the day of Christ (return).”

"Christ Placed You in His Body For His Use"

1 Corinthians 12:27-31

27-31You are Christ’s body—that’s who you are! You must never forget this. Only as you accept your part of that body does your “part” mean anything. You’re familiar with some of the parts that God has formed in his church, which is his “body”:
apostles
prophets
teachers
miracle workers
healers
helpers
organizers
those who pray in tongues.

It’s obvious by now, isn’t it, that Christ’s church is a complete Body and not a gigantic, one-dimensional Part? It’s not all Apostles, not all Prophets, not all Miracle Workers, not all Healers, not all Prayer in Tongues, not all Interpreter of Tongues. And yet some of you keep competing for so-called “important” parts.   But now, I want to lay out a far better way for you.

Beloved, Christ saved us and placed us in His Body for His use and not for our agenda to show ourselves more “holy” than one another.

Beloved, these scriptures written in I Corinthians 12:27-31, teach us that surely every true believer makes up a part of Christ’s Body{His Church}.  This is a fact and we must never forget it!  Only when we can accept our “part” in Christ’s Body, will we have meaning for ourselves.

Beloved, you are familiar with some of the parts that are listed above that God has formed in the Body of Christ.  If we have not yet realized what part we are, then it behooves us to ask God to reveal who we are in Christ’s Church. When we fail to recognize which part we are, we begin competing for so-called “important” parts, which causes confusion, problems in the body, and we know God is not in confusion.

Beloved, there is no need for us to compete for the so-called “important” Parts, in Christ’s Body {the Church}!  Apostle Paul explains that there is a more excellent way to function in the Body of Christ, which is from the perspective of love.  For God is Love, and the Love of God commands us to love one another.

Beloved, I want to leave you with this one God given confident; it is obvious that we might not all be equal in terms of talents and intelligence, but God Has given Himself equally to every part of the Body of Christ.

Therefore  beloved, we can rest assured that the Christ in us is more than able to accomplish our parts in His Body, which our Heavenly Father has pre-ordained in us!

"God Himself Will Provide You With What is Missing"

7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?”

“Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.

“The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”

8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.

Genesis 22:7-8

Beloved have you ever found yourself embarked on a journey of accomplishing all that you have hoped, planned, prayed and even dreamed for; and just when it is in your reach, something grasp your heart and panic sets in and all you can think about is what Is missing?

I want to speak a word into your spirit that Father Abraham spoke to his son, Isaac; God Himself will provide what is missing in every one of your situations, if you would only believe God for it.

Now, I know and agree with the bible scholars (i.e., Adam Clarke, the Holy Bible with commentary) who eloquently stated that, ‘We must not suppose that this was the language merely of faith and obedience. Abraham spoke prophetically, and referred to that Lamb of God which He had provided for Himself, Who in the fullness of time would take away the sin of the world, and of Whom Isaac was a most expressive type.” For Abraham was a prophet (Gen. 20:7). Jesus said Abraham hoped for My day [My incarnation]; and he did see it and was delighted” (John 8:56).

Beloved let us never lose sight of the fact that when God provides the sacrifice, He gets the glory out of our lives.  Beloved let us let go of the minor things and believe God for the Major.

Beloved, consider this will you please, if God has not withheld His only begotten son Jesus, but has freely provided Him, as a living sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins, He will by no means withhold any good thing from them who will diligently seek Him for that which is missing.  King David said, “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.”

"When the Worst Happens"

5
And Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem in the house of the Lord before the new court

6And said, O Lord, God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? In Your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand You.

7Did not You, O our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham Your friend?

8They dwelt in it and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your Name, saying,

9 If evil comes upon us, the sword of judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You–for Your Name [and the symbol of Your presence] is in this house–and cry to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save. 2 Chronicles 20:5-9

Beloved have you ever found yourself experiencing insurmountable difficulties, which left you so perplexed and fearful? Jehoshaphat found himself surrounded by his enemies and although it was a fearful situation, he did not allow himself to be overtaken by his fear; but instead he decided to call God out in remembrance to who He is what he had done in the past for His people in Israel.

King Jehoshaphat asked God to remember that He is the God of his ancestor. He told God He is the God of Heaven are you not, he said You, (God) hold all power and might in your fist-no one stands a chance against You!  Beloved, would it be a comfort to understand that in the midst of our circumstances, that we would recognize that the battle is not ours but the Lord’s?  And would it not be amazing to be able to tell God that I know you are more than able to handle my situation for me?

Beloved, King Jehoshaphat was able to go back in time to remind God that he had fought these battles before for his descendants; (he even name- dropped on God), by reminding Him that he was a descendant of His friend Abraham.  He built a holy house of worship to honor God, saying, when the worst happens-whether war or flood or disease or famine-and we take our place before this Temple (we know you are personally present in this place!) and pray out our pain and trouble, we know that you will listen and give victory.

Beloved it behooves us to look at what Jehoshaphat did and do likewise, when we are chased by so many problems in this present world.  Do not be over taken by fear when the worst happens, but set out to the holy house of worship, that has been built for a time like this, where we can come and pray out our pain and trouble, for we now know that God will listen and give victory to His children.

"No Matter What: God Gets the Last Word"

6-7
So be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you; he’ll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.

8-11Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does. (more…)

"Fortunate to Be Envied is the Man Who Trusts in The Lord"

Psalm 84: 11-12

11For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [presents] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)!  No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

12O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!

Beloved it is an awesome place to be found in Christ our Lord!  It is such a place of grace and favor; that when we come into the presence of the Almighty God, it should be our desire and request that He would look upon the Christ, The Anointed one of God and bestow His grace and favor and glory upon us for Christ’s sake.

Beloved, when we walk in the footsteps of Christ and do those things that are right in His sight, then God will recognize the Christ in us, and He promised not to withhold no good thing from us!

Beloved, if God be our God, he will be to us a Sun, to enlighten and enliven us, to guide and direct us.  In this present world, we face many dangers, but have faith in the Living God, he will be to us a Shield, to secure us from the fiery darts that come to kill, steal and destroy us. When men see the peace of God abiding in us, in spite of our trials and tribulations, we are to be envied by man. We give God the glory, because as it is written, the Lord, our God is our Sun and Shield. It is He that shines in our darkest of places and protects us from all the darts the enemy shoots our way. Beloved, God’s Glory is His goodness toward us! It gives us that “perfect peace” that passes all understanding. That is why the Psalmist says, “O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You.”  It is the believer’s pleasure to be made into the image of the Christ, the Anointed One of God, and looking with great expectation to live in His presence forever.  Therefore, let us continue this journey walking uprightly; and trusting in God to give us those things which is good for us.

Sister Betty, Praise His Holy Name!

"It Takes an Act of Faith in God"

5-6By an act of faith, Enoch skipped death completely. “They looked all over and couldn’t find him because God had taken him.” We know on the basis of reliable testimony that before he was taken “he pleased God.” It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him. Hebrews 11:5-6

Beloved, Enoch is just one example of the favor one obtains, from pleasing God! This scripture is so powerful, because it reveals to us the secret of the Kingdom to obtaining the favor of God. (more…)

"The Solution to the law of Sin and Death: Is a Life Lived on God’s Terms"

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, [a] who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8: 1-2

18He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation–he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
