So often we here church folk say you can’t serve two masters, or the famous scripture from revelations saying how God would prefer us to be either hot or cold because if we’re lukewarm he would spit us out of his mouth. But my question is, when you’re home alone, or when you’re facing a trial, who really is your master? Who are you really trusting? Who are you really running to? Are we just saying God is our master, but as soon as something happens, our faith wavers? Saints, this is the 3rd and last day. We are Gods representatives on us, let us press on, and believe God for miracles. He gives us the desires of our hearts, so we can trust that he has our best interest at heart. It’s time to wave your white flag, and surrender to God, and let him lead you… to the past everlasting, amen?
The bible says that everything has a time and purpose. We all should know that God doesn’t make mistakes, and we also should know that whatever he allows us to see, hear, touch, feel, or even smell, is to help us. Sometimes I often wonder why God would have us go through something, why we would allow all these tears to fall, all this hurt? But then I realize that it’s because he’s doing something in me. We can’t have a testimony without a test. Ministry isn’t easy, and when you say yes there is a price.
Not even speaking just about ministry, but life in general, God allows things to happen because he wants you to either learn from them, or it’s because he’s taking you higher. It’s not to hurt you, or to stop you, but rather to push you forward. Sometimes I find that God even allows me to see other people less fortunate than me to remind me how blessed I am because sometimes, because of us being human, we may dwell on the negative rather than the positive, or should I say, we dwell on what God hasn’t done yet, rather than the many things he has done. God allows it to happen, because it’s gonna benefit us, and ultimately bring him the glory. So if you’re going through right now, just know that God already has it under control, and he is gonna make it work in your favor. Just trust him, and he’ll keep you…
The bible says that we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us. It says that we are more than conquerors. It says we’ll have trials and tribulation but that the Lord will deliver us out of them…that the Lord is our shepherd and that His holy spirit will guide us in holiness. In Galatians 5 it tells us to walk in the spirit 24/7 because this isn’t a game, but a battle according to Ephesians 6 and we’ll need God’s strength.
I find that usually when God is going to bless us, the enemy will try to throw things at us, and sadly some of us, including myself will focus on our present circumstances rather than the promises of God, and what he says. But, we’re supposed to endure hardship, like a good soldier. So, PRESS ON SAINTS!! Don’t stop. The joy of the Lord is your strength. He’s your refuge and fortress. Know that he is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ask or think. Press through. Continue to push. Trust in God, and let Him direct your path. Don’t try to be God, but be still. He is on His job, so make sure you’re on yours. PRESS ON SAINTS!!!
No one said that this life would be easy. No one said it would be problem free. However, GOD said in his word (which never returns void) that MANY are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. (Psalms 34:19)
The word affliction means: mishap, disaster, tribulation. The word deliver means: to do or carry out as promised. You see right there it clearly states that at one point in time, you will come to a trial and tribulation, but God will deliver you. He will take you out, carry you through as promised. How? you might ask. Because IN HIS PRESENCE IS WHERE WE MUST BE, and Psalms 91 can clarify that. By seeking God’s will in your affliction, and trusting him, he will deliver you, and NEWS FLASH God doesn’t lie, he never has, and never will. There is no problem too big for him to solve. But also remember to whom much is given, much is required. We need to know that with every pain there’s a purpose. God doesn’t just let things happen to you for no reason.
There’s a saying “God will turn my MESS into a MESSAGE, my TEST will be a TESTIMONY, this VICTIM will be a VICTOR.” You go through things so that you can tell others about how you made it through, and the goodness of God. Remember, a righteous man falls 7 times but gets back up. GOD’s FAVOR IS ON YOU! Amen.
