1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, [a] who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8: 1-2
18He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation–he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ’s name.] John 3:18
Beloved, it is written, with the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ’s being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.
Beloved, those who walk after the Spirit, is secure in Christ Jesus. We no longer have to concern ourselves with being condemned with the world. Our faith in The Christ, have secured our position in eternal life. Our Heavenly Father might have to chasten us now and then for our own sake! But God’s Word is true, he that believes in the Son of God, who clings to, trusts in and relies on Jesus, is not judged. No condemnation-he incurs no damnation. (John 3:18)
Beloved, I urgent you this day, let us go on to mind the things of the Spirit, the favor of God, the welfare of the soul, the concerns of eternity. A sanctified soul beloved, is a living soul; and the life that is lived on God’s terms is peaceful. God is Love, and we must love one another. We must love God will all our being, He must be more real to us, than our necessary air that we breathe.
