If I am sure of anything, it is this; God’s Plan for my Life is the best plan of all.  I love this exert from the Amplified Bible, it says, “The Lord sees not only what you are right now, but also what you can become.   He knows the plans He has for you, and according to Jeremiah 29:11, they are good plans for progress and success, not defeat and failure. Let me encourage you to give God everything about yourself.  He will be patient with you as He works His plans in you.  According to Jeremiah 29:11, God has a plan for each of us, a plan that should give us hope for our future.  It is our destiny.  But that plan is possibility, not a positively.”

I did not begin to live until I accepted God’s plan for my life.  That plan did not even begin to unfold until I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  It was In Honolulu, Hawaii, 1983.  It was as though God clapped His hands and everything I had ever dreamed of or written down as a child came into play.   But it was still years later before I had the good sense to realize that I needed to commit myself to the Plan of God.  I had to abort what I thought was best for me, I prayed, God, please forgive me for trying to make you and your will fit into my little narrow way of thinking; and I asked Him in humble adoration and desperation to please, go with the plan that He has for me.

Since committing my life to God’s plan, I am still in awe of what He has done for me.

“May the Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord shed his light upon you, May the Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace”
